试卷: LEED AP ID+C 模拟试卷A[查看] A project will reduce water usage inside of the project space. Which calculations are not required for Water Efficiency Credit, Water Use Reduction? A: Number of occupants B: Monthly baseline flush usage C: Flow rates of flush fixtures D: Ratio of men to women 参考答案: B
本题解释: See Water Efficiency Credit, Water Use Reduction, Calculations
The baseline and design case compute annual water use. Here is an example:
A project has 100 FTEs with a 50/50 ratio of men to women.
Men are assumed to use water closets 1 time per day and urinals 2 times per day.
Women are assumed to use water closets 3 times per day.
Using the EPAct baseline fixture rates we have:
4 water closet uses X 1.6 gpf = 6.4 gallons
2 urinal uses X 1.0 gpf = 2 gallons
If the project is installing 1.0 gpf High Efficiency Toilets (HETs) and waterless urinals, for the design case we get:
4 water closet uses X 1.0 gpf = 4 gallons
2 urinal uses X 0 gpf = 0 gallons
Note we did not include the faucet uses or the estimated work days. However if both of these values are fixed we can easily determine the percent reduction.
4 gallons / 6.4 gallons = 62.5%, so the project achieved a 37.5% reduction. |
